Our Programs
Exploring Creativity
At Blessings All Ways Pty Ltd – Family Day Care, we believe children learn best
through meaningful experiences, hands-on exploration and environments that encourage independence, curiosity and confidence. Inspired by the educational principles of Maria Montessori, our programs support children to learn through play, discovery and real-life experiences within a safe and nurturing home-based environment. Our programs are designed to support children's individual strengths, interests and developmental needs while promoting wellbeing, belonging and active participation.
Our programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Quality Framework and the individual needs, interests, cultures and abilities of each child. Educators observe children’s learning, plan meaningful experiences and reflect on children’s progress to support ongoing development.
Practical Life Experiences
Children are encouraged to develop independence, responsibility and confidence through everyday activities and meaningful routines. Practical life experiences may include self-help skills, care of the environment, food preparation, routines and real-life learning opportunities.
Creative Arts and Expression
Children are encouraged to express ideas, feelings and imagination through drawing, painting, craft, construction and open-ended creative experiences that support confidence and self-expression.
Music and Movement
Music, rhythm, dance and movement experiences support creativity, coordination, communication and enjoyment. Children are encouraged to explore sounds, songs, movement and self-expression through music experiences.
Language and Literacy Exploration
Children are supported to develop communication and early literacy skills through storytelling, books, discussions, songs, conversations and language-rich environments.
Mathematics and Discovery
Children explore early mathematical concepts through practical experiences, problem-solving, counting, patterns, sorting, measuring and everyday learning opportunities.
Nature and Outdoor Learning
Outdoor experiences provide opportunities for exploration, sensory learning, physical development and connection with the natural environment. Children are encouraged to engage with nature through outdoor play and discovery experiences.
Sensory Exploration
Hands-on sensory experiences encourage children to investigate, explore and learn using their senses through natural materials, textures and interactive activities.
Health, Wellbeing and Physical Development
Our program promotes children's health, wellbeing and physical development through active play, movement, healthy routines and opportunities for rest and relaxation.
Child-Led Learning
We recognise children as capable and confident learners. Programs are guided by children's interests, strengths and developmental needs and support learning through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.
Family communication
Families are supported to understand their child’s learning through regular communication, observations, learning stories, program documentation and service updates. Information may be shared through direct communication and Harmony Web where applicable.
